Membership

MEMBERSHIP

Membership of NAB (India) is granted to Individuals, Institutions and Corporate, subject to approval of the Executive Council (EC) of the Association.

The Executive Council of NAB, India reserves the right (under clause of the Constitution of NAB, India) to:

  1. Alter Membership Fee.
  2. Reject any application for membership, without assigning any reason.
  3. Expel any member who they feel is unworthy of continuing as a member of the Association, however, not before affording the member opportunity to explain why he/she should not be expelled.

Membership of NAB (India) is not a prerequisite for any blind person to receiving services of the Association. Further, no criteria such as membership etc. have been laid down for those who wish to volunteer their services for the Association.

Types of Membership:

  • Individual Life.
  • Individual Ordinary.
  • Institutional.
  • Corporate.

Admission Criteria

Individual (Ordinary/Life) Membership

Applicant should be:

  1. Above 18 years of age.
  2. Interested in rehabilitation and welfare of the visually impaired.
